I do not like the word should but I wasn’t always like this. SHOULD is a big word, full of meaning – when I say should it means I know what the RIGHT way is to do something, and I am dictating it to myself or to others to remind us all about the things we aren’t doing that we SHOULD be. It’s a word loaded with judgement and righteousness. And even when it’s used with the best of intentions, rarely has it ever been used to reinforce self esteem or boost someone’s confidence.
